What bike are you looking for? I rode motorcycles for many years before selling both my bikes. My first bike was a 2008 GSX-R 750 and that thing was a beast. Then I bought a 2010 Ninja 250r SE and I can honestly say, buying the 250 REALLY taught me to ride better because I can open the throttle up all the way without fear if dying lol. If you are new, id suggest a smaller bike. Get better and then upgrade. Just my two cents

Start with a ninja 250 or cbr 250 Troy. Either one is in your budget. I'd sell you my liter bike but I'm pretty sure we would have a Troy down thread not long after you took it. Good luck on your search and remember to keep the rubber side down. Best of luck

Yea Honda groms are perfectly street legal. Id do a grom vs a full size bike if your just looking to ride around the neighborhood and not get on the hwy hwy
