Yeah I'm solo so I can't really cover the field... There are a BUNCH out there feeding

for those that have regularly hunted this 2nd dove season, does morning or afternoon seem better for this?

Ours of opposite... Mornings always better main place I hunt

That said, afternoon s are warmer

Ended with 2... Saw big groups... Lots in the field just couldn't cover it all

Weird being cold dove hunting...

We went out on Wednesday in Three Rivers and did well. Limits or close to it for three of us, but they only flew well from about 3:30-4:15. A few stragglers after that and they really shutoff the last hour of daylight. It was worth the trip and we're hoping to go back out in January.

Going down to put some more corn in our spinners tomorrow. If I see a lot of dove on drive down and through the lease I may hunt them Sunday after duck. Supposed to be NNE wind Sunday which is best for cover on my duck tanks.
