Some crazy weather all over this year!! Can't get to most of my spots down in South Liberty County... river still rising and Livingston is dumping water like crazy... only gonna get worse... probably lose more cameras and a feeder or two...

Real quick... I look up from my phone and he’s standing in the feeder pen at 30yds. After a long debate with myself I tried to sneak one through. Stupid I know, but if he leaves tge way he usually does i don’t have a shot. So I draw, anchor, let’r rip. Bet you can guess what happened... I centered the too strand and blew the arrow to pieces. He jumps out and stops at 45 quartering to me. The adrenaline got the best of me and I took a quartering to shot that I NEVER EVER do. I got out immediately after the shot and went to where he was standing. No blood there but I found about 1/2 my arrow. With any luck his shoukder bone slowed it down just before it blew his lungs out. Just picked up breakfast and waiting on my buddy wes to get here to have a look.
