Wait for it...can 16K be imminent today?

Already hit 16K by the time I submitted this post.

I'd hold onto that ether. It's switching to a POS system early next yr which will allow it to handle a lot more transactions per second. This is what will hold BTC back. If the POS switch works it will go up

I started out trying to buy ripple and ended up on the dark web ordering an S&M session with a somali chieftain. Very complicated.

log in with your coinbase info. under btc/usd (or eth or ltc) hit deposit.

From the GDAX screen click on "deposit" and you can access your coinbase wallet and switch over the USD funds. Shows up instantly.

Exactly...fees are less and no wait times. Your purchases are instant. You can transfer your USD or crypto back and forth for free from GDAX to Coinbase.

Okay - Friend put in more than me this morning and they said their funds would be available 12/14.

That would lock it in on today's price, correct?

If he transferred to his USD wallet within coinbase then no.

If he bought direct from bank account to BTC then yes.

This is my understanding of how its working.

wasnt a "bitcoin hack".. it was a store that accepts bitcoin - got hacked through social engineering, and got their bitcoin cash register stolen...

did you create and link a bank account to coinbase?
GDAX looks up and it links to your coinbase account to allow you to buy/sell

The Bitcoin frenzy is absolutely insane! The wife and I talked about buying $1,000 worth this time last year when it was literally in the ****ter and surrounded by scandal. You cannot second guess decisions but my goodness we would have been selling this morning at 19k smh.
