Man I never thought of that. That stuff is an amazing product. Make an old dirty greasy lease hat pretty as the day it first hit your head.

The heat in the degreaser is what does most of the work not the soap

Agree completely but a lot of detergent with good heat should do it.

I also change portions of the hot water while it's cooking. In my own mind I'm removing exposure to the fat/grease that has been cooked/cleaned out.

Ok I will do this today. Boil it in Dawn detergent.

Well I let soak another month and it's looking better. Still some yellow on the underside but top is better. Still a little bit of stank on the bottom where the yellow is.

Dawn is commonly used to degrease skulls.

It works much better than spray paint.
