Maverick County Big 10

I have been trying to get a shot at this deer since opening weekend of bow season, between the heat and super green conditions he wasn’t cooperating. Last Friday he came in and I had laid the bow down and got the ole Weatherby to seal the deal!!!! He was estimated 10 years old and grossed 171 1/8. I shot him on a low fence ranch in Maverick County and couldn’t be happier. Also got to share this with my girlfriend who had never been hunting and she loved it!! (Thank god, I guess I will keep her lol!)
