I doubt it. Looks like another casualty to me. Lots of deep water rigs going down now. We are just now experiencing what land did a couple years back. Yeah I believe that is the Noble Danny Adkins coming in to join the Noble Jim Day in the bone yard.

That rig project was probably started 3-4-5 years ago and finally headed out to sea. But then again, could be coming in due to the lack of offshore drilling.

Found out yesterday while in a training class for that very same company that it is coming in to get stacked. Along with numerous other rigs in the Deepwater industry. Not alot of rigs working out there in deepwater right now, including mine. Oh how I wish it was going out as well as the rest but don't see it picking up for us for at least another year maybe two.

Offshore production is looking up. I too work for an engineering firm and offshore is looking really strong right now. But im assuming they hit a lull in the drilling since these rigs are coming in?

Can't speak to offshore activity but East/West/South Texas are definitely picking up.
