What gins are you going to? I run 59 down to my place in Victoria and have had a heck of a time locating cotton seed. I can find it all day out west around San Angelo but none where i need it.

It's cheaper, a little harder to put out but lasts, coons don't eat it and it's leave it and forget it...
        Smart,
Are you feeding cotton seed here in Christoval? I’ve wanted to see if my deer will eat it. Mine haven’t read the manual though. They won’t eat alfalfa hay that everyone swears by.

            Weird deer you have[emoji41]

Those CS pics are in Christoval... and our deer destroy alfalfa too. Yes there are times it sits like the spring. But summer and during season, they eat two full three strand bales per pen is 12-13 days

Seems to be harder to find cotton seed than it is to find free feeders. Called 5 gins today with no luck.

It was a tough year for cotton farmers with all the rain during harvest time in our area.....

Call Hartzendorf gin in Sinton. 361-364-1812. Delivered us 11 tons Saturday and said they had plenty to go around.
