I have a large bodied buck coming in to my feeder and I call him Fat Albert. He's so big many experienced hunters have asked me if this is a Texas deer. As far as I know he is and I have no reason to think he is not.
Anyhoo, I think Fat Albert will exceed 120" this year. His main beams are palmated. I have seen him personally this spring and the other night my son was hog hunting and saw him at my feeder.
My question - finally - is I have a 28" hog panel fence around my feeder that deer can easily jump. If I shoot Fat Albert inside that feed pen, will he and I be eligible for P&Y? Or, should I plan an ambush on the trail that he uses to get to the feed pen?
