My latest PVC bow.

This is my 7th PVC bow. I saw one like this on a YouTube video. I built this one for my FIL for Christmas.
Start off with a 1" PVC pipe 60" long. I marked each end at about 4" and marked the center at 4" each side of center. I heated up one side with a heat gun and clamped it flat in a taper.
Do the other side and then clamp it down flat and heat the handle area and shape it.

Now I reheat the tips and clamp them flat the outer way.
Then cut off the excess and file it smooth.

Next I sanded it with 80 grit and stained the belly and tips.
Then I glued a faux snake skin to the front.
I made a handle and a rest out of leather and super glued it to the bow.
The I warped the handle with leather and stitched it with sinew.

I hope so I've met some really good people out there. Banana Bend should be having a shoot next month I think
