Any Turkeys in Crockett County Texas?

A friend of mine has an opportunity to lease some land in Crockett County for Spring turkey hunting. Are there many turkeys in Crockett County?

I grew up hunting near Ozona and there were plenty of turkey on the land we hunted. Haven't hunted there in over 30 years though. Can't speak for the entire county.

Yes loaded...hunted off Taylor Box rd for over 10 years.

Yep! We hunted north of ozona and they are there. Find the water and roosts (might be power poles!).

2011 drought hurt our numbers. Still haven’t recovered.
