10th Annual Skeeter Ranch Wild Game Cook Off and Cannnon Ball Contest

We are having the 10th (and sad to say Last) Annual Skeeter Ranch Wild Game Cook Off and Cannon Ball Contest on Aug. 5th.

ALL ARE WELCOME!!!! If you are reading this you and your family are invited!!!!

For those of you who did not attend last year, this is an all day party at the Scribner's house! Travel trailers (please bring your own electricity) & tents are welcome so you do not have to drink and drive. BYOB (for the adults and kiddos) and you can bring something to cook if you would like (hog, deer, etc.) hence "Wild Game Cook Off". We will also need sides, desserts and appetizers. Please be sure and bring your accessories, ie. chairs, floats, pop ups, kids life jackets, etc--whatever you would normally bring to the water. Make sure you label all your things in the event that anything gets left behind.

If you have never made one of these, it sounds like this is your last chance, I promise you will not be disappointed. It is an absolute blast for the whole family. Clint and Sandra go way above and beyond to put this thing together and are the most gracious hosts you will ever know. It is a load of work and quite an expense to put this thing together. I have been blessed to be a part of it for many years and would not miss it for the world, Come on out and have a good time, you will not regret it, and you won't have to live the rest of your life thinking, I should have made one of those

Let's bring this to the top. It is an awful lot of work, Clint and Sandra go way above and beyond to make this event what it is. I know it sounds just like any other party but I promise you if you make it you will be impressed. They have a beautiful place and go all out to make sure everyone has a good time. The best part for me is watching the young'uns having so much fun. There are folks there from all walks of life and they all just blend together for a good time. It is pretty much a family affair for me and you can bet my kids and grand kids will be there. If,(or when) you get hungry, There is just about anything you can think of to eat, and it is all good, if there is something special you want then just bring it with you and we will get it cooked up for you, or if you prefer, just jump on one of the pits and you can cook it yourself. You may pull up a stranger, but will leave a friend
