Talking Traded King Ranch for Tundra...done!

My "New, Used" ride...happy.....In another OP, having engine problems with the F150 Eco and just worried like crazy especially since retired now...

1794 Western Edition 4X4..only one I could find that competes with the King Ranch trim and Crew size. Weather Tech flooring, Nitto tires, Momma and I like...will tow all we need to...this is the ONLY one we could find in the DFW area per our specs and the dealer was great!

Been a while since I had a truck with 381HP and lot's of torque...wish me luck and thanks for the advice on the other OP!! Kuma

Looks good Don.
Took a couple of weeks with the K900 {420hp} before I quit leaping from stop signs. You will get used to the throttle.......

Hey Johnny....you are right on the throttle...Momma and I drove to Fort Worth today for lunch, passed a "turtle, 15 miles below the limit in the left lane of course, jumped on it and was 25 MPH over the limit before I knew it!"

Nice to hear from you Buddy...hope all is well?!

Congrats! I think both of us got a 2013 KR about the same time AND our dogs died about the same time. Iíve not had any problems with my truck and plan to drive it till the wheels come off but that is a nice truck you got into. Enjoy.

You are right...I remember about our buddies we lost! I loved the KR but the Eco engine was my concern? I had NO interest in trading until, at least with mine, the problems started and I discussed with a couple of Ford mechanics. Any brand has it's issues, maybe I just got the bad luck with mine? Thanks.....

The only thing you will miss is the fuel mileage!

Love the color and those 1794's are nice. Love my '16 Limited so far!

We are fine.

Mine has 4 drive modes. I use snow for parking attendants or oil change shops. Can’t break 35mph
Eco and normal are great.
Sport is scary. Only played with it a couple of times.

Just traded a 13 F150 Platinum Ecoboost for a brand new 2018 Tundra the day before Christmas and LOVE the Tundra!!!!! Not a fancy one but it does everything better than my previous truck.

Congrats on your Tundra. Amazing looking truck.

Well, I helped my old Land Company with a sale today and OFFICALLY baptized with an "off road adventure." Little cautious at first since my old King Ranch had bigger tires and a leveling kit to raise it up....but she performed as expected....GREAT! Took 3 clients out and they all commented on the leg room, comfort and looks. Think, so far, I did good!!

Now she needs a bath..muddy roads here in Hood County, but not too bad....

Traded my f-150 in for a tundra a couple of years ago and love it. My Ford was a good truck but my tundra would run circles around it. Enjoy. That's a great model

I love my tundra and it's a 2007. Has plenty of room for the family and enough power to pull anything I need it to. I sacrifice the gas mileage for a reliable pickup.

Oh, looking for a Ranch Hand front guard and I'll be done. Don't want the bumper model but once you've hit a deer without one, well...have experience with that and have put them on all my trucks since then. Think I'm going chrome instead of black or having it painted to match the truck.

Any recommendations in the Granbury or Fort Worth area??
