Default How many hours did you spend in the deer stand this past season?

I keep up with what time I get in stand, how many and what I see, and time I get down

I spent 119.6hrs in the stand, divided among 41 seperate sits

I saw a bunch of deer and very few hogs, only 2 sits made that I did not see a deer

Never released an arrow and only saw my target buck one time and he was 60yds out which is about 30yds farther than I am willing to shoot at a deer

Best season I have had on my place as far as numbers of deer seen

I'd imagine 3-4 hours. I shot a deer on opening day and that's it.

Somewhere around 160 hours and 36 sits. Saw deer all but 2 sits. Never saw my target buck and settled for a 5.5 year old 8 the last weekend.

Probably only got in about 20 sits, 3-4 hours per sit so about 70 hours total in the tree. Killed two deer with my bow and one with a rifle. Had a pretty solid season !!!

If I figured right I think I hunted 26 sits for deer and pigs. Probably averaged around 3 or 4 hours a set. So I guess somewhere between 75 to 100 hours give or take.

Been rabbit hunting a lot around the house. Probaly a few hours there also.

Zero for me. Do furnish feeders and blind. Grankids kill all my does for meat. They gut and bring them to me.

About 10-12 hours per weekend x however many weekends there were from the start of archery to the end of the special extended season. 100 or so hours I reckon.

I have no clue but I hunted 16 days in a 21 day period and averaged 3 hours morning and evening. That doesn't count the other 2 to 4 day weekends. Then again there's no place I'd rather be than in stand with bow in hand.

Not done yet!
I sat several sessions with my oldest and my youngest. Each were wanting only a buck, and no shooters appeared.
I'm batting cleanup, now, and will try and take an old granny doe I saw and possibly another doe.

Not nearly enough. While I was able to let the Hoyt eat one time and get some venison in the fridge, I had ALOT going on that prevented me fr om getting to the lease very much this year. It was a frustrating season for me this year.

Not sure on this season but over the last couple I dedicated 102 hunts solely to a certain target animal until he finally slipped up.

Hunts ranged anywhere from 2 hrs to 12 hours so muchos hours

I didn't keep track, but as I'm retired, a bunch. I'm still not through. I need one more deer for the freezer and probably will hunt the next two weekends on an MLDP property. Killed a buck with my .280 and a doe with my Synergy, both in Rusk Co, but two different places.
