Stolle Deer Camp - Getting Closer to Completion

Had a productive weekend at the camp and put face with a TBH name. Nice meeting you Bisch!

For once we got everything done on the todo list that we planned. Normally I schedule more work than we can get done. Here are the pictures.

Barn door in our room.





Trimmed out brother Steve’s closet door.



Threw together a shelving unit for the existing bathroom.





Jen repainted the vanity.



Got the TV on the wall in the bunk room.



We also got the yard mowed. Still really green out there and deer are not very interested in corn.

Thanks everyone. Lots of work, but I really enjoy the DIY rustic touch we are adding.

Right now it’s just hanging. It opens and closes with zero interference, so I might leave it. I might add some spacers/keepers on the top of the door to keep it from jumping the track on accident.

No big projects today. Just hunting and cleaning up the skinning shed and well house.

We saw a few deer yesterday afternoon but no shots.

Jen has this old guy there, but he never gave her a shot.



Cooked some steak and chicken on the wood stove and watched Purdue put a whopping on Ohio State.







I slept in this morning. Steve and Jen are hunting. They are seeing a few WT. I’m getting ready to play in the mood. Have to fill feeders. Going to be messy.
