This thread is for Group #1 heading to Forestville, Quebec for Spring Bear with Pourvoir Des Bouleaux Blancs . We leave out in less than three weeks- May 17

Guide said they have a 500#er that no one was able to get on last year.. Lots of bears brought home last year including mine..

I went in 08 and I've got to get back up there to try for a bigger bear. I am going to plan on going on next years hunt.

Two feet of snow and 30 degrees when I checked last week.. But Its a normal spring if it will warm up for a couple of days.

Eric said ice on the lakes was 4ft thick this time last year, this year its 2ft right now which is normal..

I loved having the cold last years cause very few bugs.. Then again I didn't sit in the rain day after day after day. Me and Matt had some bad cabin fever shooting bears the first day.. Unless its bad weather or a BIG bear, I won't do that again..
