Traditional FSC Week 48

We're gonna play poker.

Poker hands we will use, from highest to lowest:

1 - Four of a kind
2 - Full house
3 - Straight
4 - Three of a kind
5 - Two pair
6 - One Pair
7 - High Card

Print, or draw to scale (don't have to be perfect) this image to an 8.5 X 11 inch sheet of paper.



From 15 yards (8 for the kiddos) shoot one (only one) shot per day for 7 days.

Winner will be the best poker hand for the week.

If you don't get the opportunity to shoot all 7 shots,
then you better shoot good for those shots you do get.

A line hit goes to the shooter for the better of the two (or more) options.

Because the cards are all the same suit, I just threw the flush possibility out entirely, BUT I do see your point. A Royal flush will work into the mix quite well.

Day one= 0. I didn't even hit the paper. In my defense it's windy as all get out right now. So windy in fact that I'd not consider shooting at an animal when it's like this. Although to be honest I don't know how much the wind will move an arrow at a range of 15 yards.

Yesterday in Abilene the wind was pretty stiff. It would drift my arrow tail to the right a bit but landed generally where I wanted it to.

Yeah my buds left after it got up good. I had to get home for a dedication of my grandsons at church.
Windy here but the privacy fence blocks a lot of it. I can't blame my shot on it. I hit my anchor solid and it was just gone before I thought much about it.
