Just got back from the ranch. Seems to me that "green up" is a little early this year. Everything is blooming right now. White,yellow,purple and orange flowers everywhere. Deer and cows look healthy. Very few sheds found. Lots of bucks still with both horns. Protein consumption has slowed down.

What are y'all seeing?

Its definitely green at my place. The protein consumption really hasn't slowed down to much but I haven't found has many sheds either. I found 14 so far this year.

Had a buddy down at the lease yesterday. It has greened up nicely since we got an inch of rain about 2 weeks ago. Deer are hitting the protein and cottonseed, but not as hard as they were before the rain.

Turkeys not talking yet.
Long leaves on the mesquites.
