Default New blind.

I decided to build a new blind because I could.
Actually going to build 2 but 1 at a time

I bought 5 Deer View windows and a door Kit.

I got the lumber Saturday and got the base frame done this morning

I decided on this shape. The point is the front. The side walls will be a little longer than the 3.5 feet shown. I have not decided yet. I think it will be some kind of siding. Still thinking about that. There will be windows on the point walls and the side walls. The back wall will either have 1 window and a door or a door with a window?

I had some help this morning

Got the back wall done and the top on, (still needs to metal), caulked and primed.

It is going to it next to the hay barn so I am going to paint it the same color as the siding.

Almost done

Got the window, doors, and roof installed. Still need to paint the trim. I bought a thick horse mat from TS for the floor. Just 1 shelve inside.

I really like the deer view windows and doors.

The windows at the bottom at 36 inches.

I got the windows and doors from a site sponsor. Deer View Windows.

The windows are 24x11.5

Go here

http://deerviewwindows.com/horizontal-slider-window/

Great person to deal with.....

I will start building the one in post #1 in a few weeks.

Looking @ the photos they appear to be our standard 24" x 11.5" Horizontal Sliders. The door is our Deluxe Blind Door. (Appears to be our 24" x 60")

I started the next blind. I laid the walls out on the base and took it to the field to make sure window placement would work. I got most of the walls made and did a test fit.

I think I will like it. windows and door should be here next week...

I got it dried in. Still have to get the tin for the roof, caulk and paint.

We did get the inside painted a dark green. With the tinted windows it is hard to see inside..

You are welcome to use the pictures.

This is the back. It will be painted a tan as the base coat and then some camo of some sort.

Love those Deerview doors and windows.

Got the roof and used some 2 inch molding on the corners.

My stepson was here with some friends so I let them camo the blind.

They used camo paint and several stencils. They had a blasted and I think it tuned out just fine.

Looks good Stan. The anchor idea is really creative, but curious why you didn't just screw the anchor into the ground?

Have you ever tried to screw those anchors in the ground when it is dry or even when it is wet

This way I can move the anchors if I decide to change locations.

One of the 24x41x12 foot tall carports.

We put the 2 sides on and it is very sturdy.
