This is about right. I've had blood drained off my knee twice and it looked exactly like a Cajun injector.

I had some bad knee trouble a while back. My knee would swell up bad, turn red, get hot, and hurt like all get out. I ended up being diagnosed with gout. I got put on an alopurinal regiment and haven't had any real trouble since.

My knee did the same thing Sunday morning. I went to the doctor today and he's fairly certain it's gout. Ran blood work to make sure it wasn't any other kinda infection. It hurts. I've got the same medicine I believe.

Better go get checked out. Some guy my wife works with has a swollen baby toe, went in to get it checked and they told him he had a flesh eating bacteria and wanted to take off his leg below the knee. After more tests they just took off all his toes. They said two more days and he would be dead. Unreal.

My knee was hurting pretty bad for two months. Went to the doc and he gave me a steroid shot and it's been doing great for over a month now. Didn't hurt any worse than a flu shot.

Sounds like gout. Exact same thing that happened to me. Tart cherry juice is your friend.
