Well I gave my left handed sister my first bow (I'm not a lefty), sighted it in for up to twenty yards and she went to shooting. We practiced for awhile and she was shooting good so I figured slap on some broadheads and let's go stalk some javelinas. We get out there and first time up we make a six hundred yd stalk and she gets a twenty yd shot. Thump! Shot under. It ran towards us ten yds n stops. I tell her to use the top pin. Thump! Buzz! There goes the hair on his back.
Next stalk we get two hundred yd get within twenty and it turned and headed back our way ten yds and whack. Had some vines in the way and she hit it forward. For those who haven't shot javelinas they hardly bleed and with chest high weeds we weren't able to get on him to finish him. But she did not miss. I was proud!
Well I stopes to depressure the water hose and saw a rabbit. She stalked up ten yards and whack right in the neck. First bow kill, small target small trophy but I guarantee that memory with my sister and I as well as all the other hunting excursions like her first buck javy pig doe and buck will forever be remembered!!!
