Goliad camping...

Has anyone stayed or camped at the Goliad State Park? If so, share your experience please

We stayed there several years ago. Nice park but not alot to do after touring the missions. Not far from Rockport area. There is a nice walkway into town from the campground along the river. Super nice park/playground in town if you have little ones.

There is a lot of history there to be explored. Some deer. If you want a nice quiet place to get away and just totally relax in a quiet, uncrowded park, it will fit the bill nicely.

We stayed there this year, on the way to the coast. It is a nice park. Pull thru spots. Not much shade. I would stay there again.
