Fortune 500 company - Corporate Admin photo

I work in Las Colinas TX for a large company (20K+ employees) and today we had our departmental luncheon.

Linsey, the admin, joined us for lunch and the conversation was hunting and she just jumped right in.

She started telling us a story, about how how her and her husband were building a house, and they were staying at their family cabin, around the time of turkey season, while their house was being built.

During the lunch, she told me how it happened. She had just got to the gate to their property, and saw two “birds” by the gate. So......

Linsey said that she hurried to the house to grab the 22-250, and almost broke an ankle because her high heel got caught it the porch, so she kicked off the shoes and bolted back to her truck with the rifle.

She drove back to the gate and laid the rifle across the truck bed and proceeded to dispatch 2 birds, shooting each in the head at +100 yards.

I didn’t believe the story, so she sent me these two photos.

It was such a cool story (when the pic is included) that I wanted to share it with my Green Screen family!

Any clarification would be appreciated. I've sat in my deer blind many times and watched turkey through my scope and wondered about shooting them in the head but thought it was illegal with a rifle?

I bet the husband part really kills the story for all the single TBHers. Great shooting though.

                              Great shooting.

I would be hesitant of posting any pictures like that in this day and age if I worked for a company with that many employees though. Libs are out of control these days.
