This is the second cricket that I find impailed on one of my trees. The first one was on an oak. This one is on my plum tree. What does this? Im thinking scissor tailed fly catcher.

Birds - Shrikes

Shrikes will impale insects on branches to hold them for eating later. Kind of like a birds version of a meat locker/fridge. Jason Slocum
