    Wild ram split pea soup!

Ok folks, here's another one for making those mutton bones (or those of any other game animal) produce yet another great meal!

Once you've cooked them, eaten all the good cuts and picked through the scraps, the leftovers have one more big present to give - soup!

I used my pressure cooker to accelerate the boil down process, and cooked them in water at 15lbs of pressure for 1.5 hours.

    1. Remove pressure, open lid, and remove all the bones and any gristle.

    2. Break up remaining meat and fat into small pieces.

    3. Add 3tbsp fennel seeds, two minced yellow onions, two bags of split peas, one cup of brown rice, and six cubed potatoes (1/2" cubes). Based on your pot size, you can of course adjust ratios of ingredients.

    4. Cook at 15lbs for 40 minutes. Presto! This stuff is incredible!
