i went up to whitney n looked at couple of places in h9 on the Mcown valley end of it.Interesting!there is an access point directly across the road from a gray house.Has any one else hunted there?Is it a produtive area?I found lots of fresh sign n its been raining 2 days now n am considering hunting it this week.the place i looked at had cattle on it.Also how has whitney been overall?i heard of a 190 to 200 class deer being taken near kopperal.Any one else hear of that?

No I live in kopperl and nobody has taken a deer of that size. -
H9 is one of the most used area by hunters and ranchers. Mostly on that end. I live bout a mile from there and see trucks there everyday.Comment

Yes somebody is claiming to have shot a 200 class by Kopperl on COR land but I hear he cant be trusted. I think it is one of those stories where someone poached it and claims he shot it there to have somewhere to put as land.Comment
