Letters on the LED light strip G R B

I was looking at the light strips and was wondering what they mean.
My read
120V
G
R
B
does this mean Green, Red and Blue?

Probably. Red,Green,Blue in the right ratio, gives you white.

I'm pretty sure that is 12V not 120V.
Yes, it is Red Green Blue. The change in the resistance on each of the RGB is what gives off the different colors.

I believe you are right, but I think there is O or zero on there.
If I solder to the R and the 12v will the lights turn red?

Yes, it should work for you. Just make sure you keep your wires straight.
I see kayak lighting version 2.0 in your near future! Have fun

Check the voltage carefully. Likely 12V but there are some LEDs now that have been made for home installation and they are 120V.
