    Let's talk Flashlights

Im looking to buy a new flashlight for my back pack. I have an old stream light rechargeable Scorpion. I have replaced the battery pack once. It seems to not hold a charge anymore and looking to buy a newer light. Technology has changed since I bought this one. If you were going to spend under $200, which flashlight would you buy? Thanks

I buy mine from Battery Junction cheapest I've found and lots of choices. I bought a 920 lumen with a wide beam for blood trailing. They have on hand lights with up to 2500 lumens.

If you want to stick to rechargeable go with the streamlight. If you don't get a Surefire Fury! Best light made for just Over $100 IMO! 500 TRUE lumens.

I'd say Surefire headlamps. Bright light and hands free. This is on my Christmas list.
