I'm pretty sure that's Matt's eye but how does the camera pick it up from a digital view finder?

Do you have a protective UV lens or any other covering attachment over the objective lens of your camera? That looks like the reflection of the objective/shutter area of your camera. Still interesting though...I haven't seen a camera reflect that.

Wade I think you're right. I got to looking at the camera closer and figured it was a reflection shutter in the UV lens. Kinda weird?!?

Yup! Try a lens hood of some sort, it should help.
