    Age....Jim Wells County

    Would be interested in the thoughts on the age of this one. Im leaning towards 4.5 but not 100% sure as I cant seem to find who he is from previous pictures.

          I think he is 4.5 at minimum due to him being larger than the known 3.5 yr old deer. I could be convinced he’s 5.5 but still leaning to 4.5

                To me, that deer looks young. I’ve been wrong before though.

                We will have some that are just a much larger body frame that the rest, so I would be careful using that as a measurement.

                  To hard to tell this time of year on deer but I say 4.

                          Being that our place is only 200 acres I am always hesitant to let a deer like this walk, but I know that they can’t get bigger if you don’t let them grow. I have had some get to the magical 5.5/6.5 and some that we never see again. Hopefully this guy will make if for another year or two and keep his nose in the feeder tube.
