Oh, by the way. If that bird cage is now called the bare cage, well...I ain't huntin' nekked. LOL

I'm sitting here chuckling over the number of hits this thread has gotten.

          Amazing video, great job Mary.

I knew that bears were making a come back into Texas and Northeast Mexico but didn't think they would be that far east. They have been strong in the Big Bend country for a long time and just across the river in Mexico they are actually having trouble with bears taking live stock.

          Deffinately a cool exerpiece.

                LOL

Based on the title of this thread I had unrealistically high expectations but the bear video was nice too!

That has to be the coolest thing that I have ever seen on TBH.
                  I agree.
                  Congrats Mary!

I would have seriously been hammering my phone internet trying to pull up tpwd to see what the regulations are.

Or more likely would have been trying not to **** myself. That is incredible!

Great work on the video Mary!!! When I got the first text from Joey I was thinking he started on the stones a little early

I hope he stays on Tippit and Clint's side of the lease

That is sweet. Wasn't there a thread asking about bears in the hill country in the last week or so?

Matt, I was thinking when I read Mary's post that you should be very worried. A spike attack is one thing...bear attack might be a little different! Maybe you ought to be thinking about putting bars on your windows instead of building an escape hatch!
