New to Round Rock

As the title states I am new to Round Rock, moved here for work and family reasons.

What is the scoop on things do do around here? Restraunts? Occasionally we will go into Austin, but I am also hoping to have enough around here to where I dont HAVE to go into austin (if that makes sense).

Anything to stay away from?

Welcome to Round Rock. Lots of good places to eat in Downtown Round Rock. Louisiana Longhorn Cafe is cajun, Alcove Cantina is good too. Hurricanes in La Frontera has good wings. Round Rock Express if you are into baseball.

Quite a few places to eat there. Chuys, torcheys, hopdoddy. Run to hutto and go to the texan café gets some pie to bring home dang good
Express games are fun and just down the road. We moved to Georgetown but lived in round rock for long time.

Downtown RR has a lot of good food and bars.

Granger WMA is the best thing to do around Round Rock IMO.

Palermo in downtown Round Rock has great food. Their pasta is awesome.

What area did you move too?

Make sure to get some Round Rock donuts. Downtown Round Rock is a nice area to hang out and beats going into Austin. If your into craft beer and pizza, pinthouse pizza should be open in October.
