    Finally Got Sombrero!

Well I have been after this guy all season on my Brown Co. lease and finally got my chance Friday afternoon about 5pm. Had 8pt at feeder that was brokeup on left side. Heard deep loud grunt behind me. Saw doe coming and Sombrero right behind her, doe saw the 8pt at feeder and decided she didnt want any problems and turn to leave but Sombrero had other things on his mind his hair came up he looked almost black, ears laid and here he came making a clicking grunt the whole way. I can not shoot straight behind me had to wait until he walked past my stand. As he was going under me he caught wind of me and bolted about 4 jumps and then slammed the brakes on when the startled 8pt jumped at the feeder, this seemed to have reminded him of what he wanted to do which was kick his butt he blew up again forgot about me and started walking at 8pt again. I drew but didnt have great shot, limb covering his lower half, stood on tippy toes and aimed just above limb let loose he dropped with a spine hit a quick second shot and he was dead. 20" inside spread and 6" hooked browtines. Sweet!
