They were still finishing at 5 this evening. One corner of the slab was in the shade from 10 am and is setting slowly. This crew finished another pour after 11 p.m. Friday. Drove to my place took a nap and started my slab before 4 a.m.

You mind sharing who is doing the work? My parents live in Bertram and are planning to build the same soon.

I will get better pics tomorrow. Slab is 3060 sqft. The shop is 15" lower than the house. I think there is just over 600 sqft in porches. My contractor is James Burkett. He has been great to work with. If he tells you something, you can count.on it. I understand sometimes he is very busy and can be hard to book. He is based.in Liberty Hill.

Started up. it should be turned over to me in about 1 1/2 weeks. I will do framing and finish out. I also intend to install the septic. Progress will slow down. I am looking forward to trimming it out, ideas are starting to come together on interior finishes.
