I'd make my decision on what the other deer on your place look like. If that is a BIG deer - then shoot him - he's old enough to be a shooter.

If he's just average - I'd wait for a bigger one - maybe he blows up next year.

If you have a bunch of giants running around - knock his butt out of the herd.
