Well, Bama has lost their most important player at the most critical time of the year. If it aint panic time its close. Biggest thing is, will the team give up?

I was wondering if this was the same injury that Bo Jackson sustained?

Waco and back forty? No comment

Hook ‘Em! Season hasn’t gone as I had hoped, but they still have games to play. Here’s to 8-4.
Hope Tua recovers fully, saw some speculation that the injury could of been career ending. Hopefully it is not.

Texas limps into Waco needing a win in the worst way. They are 5 point dogs to open. I know we will be out coached, so I hope the Bears come out flat after the OU loss and we have some playmakers make plays for the win.

Texas wins this week.

No

No. I don’t know anything, but Bo’s injury involved a small or micro fracture which was not detected. It resulted in loss of blood flow to that area of the hip, the bone “died” and that set him on the road to hip replacement. With regards to Tua, I have heard both there was a fracture and there was not. Dr. Cain says he expects him to recover. Have to wait to see what comes next.
Bo's injury is probably why they flew him to St. Vincent's after the game. Just in case.

Yes

Hoping Tua has a full recovery. The NFL Network was talking about how the injury might affect his draft status. I still think he goes first round.

I would think Baylor would come out ****** off after choking the game away to OU.

If they win out they get a rematch in the big 12 championship, so they still control their own destiny in that regard.

I think weíre playing much better... 24-14 Georgia

According to ESPN medical expert Stephanie Bell, Tua has the exact same injury that CJ Mosley suffered and both saw Dr Cain. Tuaís injury does not appear to be career threatening but the kid has a lot of physical therapy and recovery in front of him. 3 pretty significant lower extremity injuries in less than 2 years. Wish the kid well as heís a baller

LSU will not cover against the Piggly Wiggly’s due to them resting multiple players. No reason to risk injury if there is a big lead. They need everyone healthy for ATM and Ga Ga.

Had not seen that but glad to hear. For me CJís injury was in the top 5 of things I donít want to see again!

I believe Bo would have made it back had he not had the bone damage. That was a real shame.

What is the long term success of the ďtightropeĒ surgery. I wonder if it will be talked about as an elective surgery like Tommy John was a few years back?

OU looked really good after getting hit in the mouth. I still want to see OU and Bama tee it up again. I want to see LSU and Clemson play. Texas just stinks. I’m tired of the injury excuses.

Boís dislocated hip injury had never been seen before on the football field. It was mis-diagnosed by the medical professionals. Because they took to long to re-insert the femur ball back into the socket, the hip bone died from lack of blood supply. Boís unfortunate injury educated sports medicine doctors. Both Tua and CJ had their femur ball immediately put back into the dislocated hip socket to save their health and careers

Baylor came out and ruffed up OU in the first half. #3 for da bears is a thug!! OU played keep away in the second half and survived. Both teams play hard and are fast!

Texas....well they are not competitive. Baylor will whoop them this week.

Minnesota didn't hold up under pressure.

I feel bad for Tua. He is everything College football should be about.

Certainly wish Tua well.

Never take Arkansas lightly; they always gear up to play LSU.

LSU should take no one lightly considering what the ultimate prize is for them this year. Pound everyone into submission.

Good luck the rest of the way.

Sure wish Baylor had won last night. Would have set them up for an upset this week. Now, not so sure. I'm afraid Baylor will explode on Texas like they did in the first half of the OU game. If they get 28 points ahead there is no way TH can figure out how to come back. Dive plays against 9 men in the box won't cut it. TH gets out coached (nothing new) again this week. Texas' only hope is if Sam has a career day and gets ahead and Baylor runs out of time making a comeback with TH doing his usual crap of slowing the offense down trying to run out the clock. Time to throw out the trash and start over.

Texas 17 Baylor 16

BU looked really fast last night. Texas has looked slow this year. I don't think UT keeps up and BU runs away with it.

Heath does hermans statement postgame about 'not being out coached' give you any concern about if cdc can get him to shake up the staff? Does he have any pull that would override cdc influence at this point?

Again, my trust is in CDC. Herman is not bigger than the program. He hasnít earned that right. I know CDC doesnít want to make many changes but his hand is being forced.

At kyle i would agree with this... in BR... i dunno.. depends on lotsa factors ..mond hitting recievers...mond not getting killed because of the oline.. mond not turning it over.. defense stepping up.. offense killing clock... lsu crowd not being sober enough to find the stadium.. mike the tiger escaping and mauling the first 97 rows of student section , getting a raging case of hepatitus C and requiring an air lift to A&M animal hospital where hes made into a mount that rivals the infamous bobcat thread on tbh... aggressive play calling by fisher.... mond having the game of his life and getting support from his receivers..

I donít think he has, but even guys who have done it thereís no exact science to it. My trust is how heís handled everything else since heís been the AD. Heís been around GP long enough to know what a good football coach is.

Again, I donít think a change is needed at the top nor do they want to make a change, but it will be real hard not to make staff changes. Thatís why the silver lining in getting beat is not using the excuse of a win mask the problems that exist. I read that in Texas last 26 games, 2/3 have been a one score game. They are 10-6 in the last 16 of those games so those 10 wins could have easily been losses. Hermanís team play to the level of the team they are playing (up and down) and thatís not what the University of Texas should be.

Iím very curious to see how Texas responds this week. I honestly feel this is the type of game Herman wins, but will that just enable him to keep believing everything is fine with his program.

It's amazing how much shine Tommy Boy has lost from his own supporters since week 4 or 5. I got a die hard UT friend (lawyer) and I saw his facebook post Saturday night. He was calling for Herman's head!

Beat Baylor and itís back on the train. The fickle nature of a college football fan. Happens on here week to week.

Ags have won four in a row and are ranked. And fans aren’t in total meltdown asking for Jimbo’s head. Things are looking good.

Jimbo has a plan. He hasn't deviated from his plan nor will he due to background chatter. He has a recruiting plan. He has a plan for the culture he instills and the type of locker room he wants. He has a philosophy on ball control (offense). He has a plan on defense (stop run first). And most importantly he has stuck to the plan regardless if he has all the right pieces in place. In year 2 he is still on schedule. That is what gives me confidence. You cant let the win loss record tell you everything. Nobody has ever played (3) number 1's in the same season, plus a top 5 (Georgia). The only game we didn't stay on schedule was the Auburn game this year. That shouldn't have happened. I till think we pick up one more win out of #4 Georgia or #1 LSU. Standing by!

Tua on the plane to Houston to have hip surgery tomorrow. He also had the wall fracture so who knows how it turns out but it certainly does not sound promising

CDC should be making a decision based on a mediocre performance by a coach not based on being forced. The longer he waits in doing his job / responsibility the longer it takes in getting the program back to a top 5.
