Mature bucks <13”

I’m not wanting to argue About antler restrictions. Just wanting to see pictures that anyone has of mature bucks that are less than 13”.
This one is my daughters first buck. She shot him when she was 6 about to be 7 one year before they put AR in place in Brown county. He was a 4.5 year old 12 point 12.5” wide. He wasn’t a bad buck for a 6 year old girls first.

Yea you’re right, prob more like 10 or 11”
Last year he was a bit wider as a 7 point.
Either way he’s old and will never be 13”

this buck ended up being killed never heard if he was legal r not. But at 15 yards I had to pass him twice cuz I could make him 13 inch’s. He had 13 points double split g2’s.

No doubt there are some nice, mature deer that won’t ever reach 13”, but we all know that AR is “for the greater good.”

Less than 13

This deer taped at 12and 7/8 he had 27 inch main beams and 13 inch g 2s . According to his teeth he was 4.5 to 5.5
Killed him 20 years ago in sabine national forest. At 10 yards..

We have a ton at our place that go untouched every year. Can someone help me understand the logic. Is it the downside of a broad rule to prevent non-management minded hunters from shooting whatever they want?

I shot this one 6 yrs ago. 11” spread. But we aren’t ar in Starr county.
