I was done on October 23rd. Only the sixth time sitting in the stand.

I guess it sucks to be done that early, but I'm definitely not complaining

Missouri has OTC Tags and public lands, so does Arkansas. With a month and a half, I'd be rolling down the road.

Before everyone points out the obvious, it is good to have killed a buck and have that much time off. Just used to putting 30 days in stand.

I have passed three legal bucks already, but none over 3.5, all because I like hunting more than shooting. That said, I won't pass if the ONE comes along.

I know the feeling. I walked outside late this morning at work and thought, "Man, I definitely would have taken some days off this week."

If you had to use all your tags before you could get a new license Id still be using tags from 2010.

One or two deer last us all year. Y'all must really eat a lot of it. Could have tagged on the first two sits. But I like hunting to much.

If you dont want to go out of state, find a ranch that has MLD tags and keep on hunting. Congrats on a great start to the season.

OMG, just cause you hit one with your truck doesn't mean you can bash the rest of us who don't have big deer showing up at their back door....

Just kidding, glad this one didn't get away, I couldn't have stood another, "I was this close" story....LOL

To be fair though, I went 13 years between shooting my first buck and shooting my second buck, & 5 years between shooting my second buck and the one I killed this year. So being done before November feels weird

My son kind of tagged me out last weekend, unless I can find a buck fit for the wife to kill. I spent saturday moving cameras to new spots, hand corning, and shooting pigs. She's coming out this weekend so I'll be cooking and guiding. I'm looking forward to it!

I'm down to my last buck tag, and likely won't use it. It would take a really special deer for me to use it and be done for the year. I enjoy hunting and watching deer to much to call it quits this early in the season.

Could’ve tagged out Friday morning but passed on a 10” spike. Shot a doe that morning and 3 pigs in the Sam. So 4 deer with a bow this year and had one tag and one arrow left that morning. Still waiting on big boy.

And for the record, you’re tagged out, meaning all 5 tags have been filled? And is that gun or bow or both?
