If you decide to do it, they will need to put a piece of purling at the seam.

Today they finished the outside. As glad as I am to get that part done, I kind of hate seeing the.metal.guys leave. We have our celebratory beer drinking, porch setting finishing beers. I can't believe I forgot to take a picture of the group before they left. Man the stories told tonight! I just thought I had some interesting stories.

Brian, my builder, asked me to walk around and see if there was anything I wanted him to do before he left. As we were walking around I told him everything I saw in the days before, he always had fixed/done before I ever had a chance to ask about it. He said he built it just like it was his own. I could really see the pride he took in his job. In fact I looked out after I had gone in the house, an hour or so after they left, and saw him and his wife back outside. He had brought her over to look at it. Really a nice feeling to see the builder have as much interest/pride in my house as I do.Last edited by BrianL; 09-28-2012, 09:40 PM.
