Honeymoon - Punta Cana

I'm getting married Jan 28th......we've procrastinated long enough lol.....I think we have it narrowed down to Punta Cana as our destination....we want to do adults only all inclusive but there lots of resorts to choose from...anyone on the GS care to share any insight or information on where to stay?

We have been to the Iberostar Grand and it was pretty good.

My wife and I stayed at the Bahia Príncipe Ambar and really enjoyed it. The food and entertainment was great. I would not recommend leaving the resort for different excursions because they are not nearly as nice as advertised. We went on 3 different ones and every one of them had us surrounded by people trying to sell you stuff and we had to constantly watch our belongings. One lady had her purse with passport inside stolen. The trip to saona island was the worst.

We stayed here this summer. It was a pretty nice place. The food and drink were good for an all inclusive place. The beach on the resort is a little small but right next door to the property is Juanillo Beach.

It was our first time to the DR and we enjoyed it.

We stayed at Sanctuary Cap Cana and really enjoyed it. Beautiful private beach next to the resort. Lots to do and on the quiet side of DR.

We stayed at the excellence and loved it. All inclusive for 2 people for 5 days was like $3200. Adults only also

This will be the first trip out of the country either one of us has ever took....we want it to be a good experience! Like to keep it under $4,000 if I can

In for this...we had originally planned to take the family there this Summer, but we're heading to the Redneck Riviera.

Barceló Bavaro Resort!! pool and food are great,,, AND THE CASINO!! we booked some expeditions at the resort,, got every penny worth,,, deep sea fishing, zip lines, Atv/dune buggy, coffee farms...etc.etc.
