Try draining the fuel tank and refill it

      How much diesel in tank?

      Maybe you could dilute it?

Not good at all. Need to get it to dealer asap! I have been told by a friend of mine that is a ford service manager that it can/will destroy an engine in a matter of hours.

Yes def in the fuel tank will do alot of damage to the after treatment and to the engine causing alot of damage

Not good!!! Should have never have started it! The pump shoots the def all through your fuel system and it cost thousands to fix. Ugh

Def will trash the fuel system in a diesel, basically crystallizes in the fuel and eats seals, orings, and clogs injectors and fuel pumps. You may get lucky but usually if driven for any period of time afterwards it’s a new fuel system.

Don't start it!! Hope it wasn't running when you put it in there.

Yep. I know a guy who did that same thing earlier this year and it was an $11k mistake.

I know 2 people that did it. $15k each but insurance covered it.

Most of the time it's an insurance claim...
