    Who prays Daily for their Wife ?

    Who prays on a daily basis for their Wife ? Can you share some of your prayers or the part of scripture you use ?

    I do but I'm not one to recite scripture in prayer. I just lift her up for strength and wisdom then ask that she and my boy make it home safe every day.

      Not really pray for her, but I do thank the Lord that after all we have been through she is still by my side.

        Every day I pray for her and my children. No particular scripture, just lift them up and thank God for blessing me the way he has. I ask that he watch over them should something happen to me and I am called to his side.

          I do. The amount of stress women are under, it is a necessity and responsibility on our part to do so.

          I pray for protection, wisdom, Spiritual and physical strength. That the LORD would bless her and anoint her to be a witness for Him.

          I don't use scripture per say, but, they are "scriptural" non the less.

            I agree with the above responses. I don't recite any scripture but I do pray for her and our son every day asking God to be with them, protect them and keep them safe, continue to bless us, that he be happy with our works each day and for us all to be a light in the community to show Gods love.

              I do thank the Lord everyday for giving me someone that loves and cares for me like my wife! Cause I know it's not easy putting up with a old beer drinking deer hunter!

                      I would say the best, most powerful prayer you can pray for ANYONE is Psalm 91. Put her name in the place of he, or wherever reference is made for God to do something. then stand back and watch.
                      (Wife) stand in the presence of the most High and she dwells in the shadow of the almighty.........

                        Thank you that is powerful and really fits her, our needs

                        Psalm 91
                        1*
                        Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
                        ****will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
                        2*
                        I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
                        ****my God, in whom I trust.”
                        3*
                        Surely he will save you
                        ****from the fowler’s snare
                        ****and from the deadly pestilence.
                        4*
                        He will cover you with his feathers,
                        ****and under his wings you will find refuge;
                        ****his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
                        5*
                        You will not fear the terror of night,
                        ****nor the arrow that flies by day,
                        6*
                        nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
                        ****nor the plague that destroys at midday.
                        7*
                        A thousand may fall at your side,
                        ****ten thousand at your right hand,
                        ****but it will not come near you.
                        8*
                        You will only observe with your eyes
                        ****and see the punishment of the wicked.
                        9*
                        If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
                        ****and you make the Most High your dwelling,
                        10*
                        no harm will overtake you,
                        ****no disaster will come near your tent.
                        11*
                        For he will command his angels concerning you
                        ****to guard you in all your ways;
                        12*
                        they will lift you up in their hands,
                        ****so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
                        13*
                        You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
                        ****you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
                        14*
                        “Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
                        ****I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
                        15*
                        He will call on me, and I will answer him;
                        ****I will be with him in trouble,
                        ****I will deliver him and honor him.
                        16*
                        With long life I will satisfy him
                        ****and show him my salvation.”

                            I do but don't use a scripture. I pray for her health, safety, success and that I can always be a good husband to her. She is a good witness along with mother and grandmother.

                              No need to be guilty, just start praying for her...today, now, whenever it comes to your mind.
