Looking for Hornady Match 308 - 168gr amax ammo

I shot my 308 recently with some left over factory stuff I had laying around and it really like the Hornady Match 308 - 168gr amax ammo. (Pic of the box attached for reference) Would like to get a bunch of this ammo since I know it shoots so well - BUT

I looked around online and it's discontinued now...of course.

The Hornady Black 168gr amax looks to be identical in reported muzzle velocity. Does anyone know if this is the same ammo and was re-branded for marketing or something?

Have you tried the ELD Match 168gr they have? Hornady website doesn't say they discontinued that ammo. It may just be the site where you tried to buy them discontinued them. Hit up ammoseek.com.

Isn't the ELD the replacement for the AMX?
I think they just advertise the polymer tip as being more heat resistant on the ELD's

I had the same issue and tried the hornady black you mentioned. The few shots I tested have the same poi. Didn’t really shoot for groups though so take it for what it’s worth
