The majority of people do want the mouth open, but honestly, how often have you seen a hog running around with his mouth hanging open?

Thanks again everyone. I have never seen a hog with his mouth open except when squeeling after I put an arrow in it, so I liked the closed mouth. My next hog I do will be open mouth just because I know my future customers will want it . Can't wait to do another one!!

What most don't like is the prep work. If you've ever skinned a big hog, you know about the sheild ... all that has to come off before you even start the tanning process and it's a PITA. That and all the finish work on those stupid open mouths!
