I'm sending these pics to my fam that is hunting with me in Sept. They are drooling! We are chomping at the bit, and counting down the days. Thank you for doing this Buff.

The hardest part about hunting your place is waiting patiently for the critter that you've paid for while everything else parades out and stands broadside.

Ugh! Why did I have to get hurt and have shoulder surgery! Those fallow are awesome I would be booking a hunt if I could physically pull my bow back. But no bowhunting for a year, doctors orders.

In those pictures it seems like you don't have much foliage around on the ground level, is it because all those exotics eat like cows?

Thats the one. Not the picture he quoted, but the same stand. The picture he quoted was of the first pic you posted from that stand. Looks like a young fallow facing the camera.

That makes a ton of sense. When I was up there, it was February and I wondered why it was I could see so far through the trees. I was thinking maybe because it wasn't green, but now that you say it, it makes so much more sense now.

Before I added the Sheep and Goats my place was solid saw briars and sweet gum bushes.
They cleaned it up

I would say that you have a target rich environment! Do you normally have to hunt your axis away from the feeders?

I know you've stuck critters that most of us only dream of but do you ever hunt your own place? Just curious, seems like most people I meet with ranches like yours stay so busy guiding others they don't hunt em much themselves.
