Who has gotten a flu vaccine

Just got mine, today, and really hope it works
Two years ago I got influenzas A & B with pneumonia between both
Don’t ever want to go through that ever again

Some people say they never get a flu shot ( more power to them ) I don’t want to risk it with a senior citizen in the house

Kinda disappointed that I couldn’t get a shingles vaccine at same time

I did a couple of weeks ago. After getting the flu about every other year I started on the flu shot every year for the past 30 years. Never had it since.

Well the nurse that vaccinated me said we have 4 very virtual bad strains so I would get one anyway

I do at my Dr. recommendation and I trust him. And, no I don't get the shot at his office, work provides it.

Same here but closer to 15yrs by now...one & only time I got the shot was sick for two weeks & nothing since. Maybe we got the batches that worked for a lifetime??

They are talking on the news today of a flu shot lasting 5-10 vs getting it yearly.
