    Bald Eagle sighting

For the last 2-3 weeks as I drive over the Brazos River from Robertson County (Franklin) into Milam County (Cameron) at 4:30-5 pm on the Old Temple Highway (FM485), I've seen a bald eagle taking flight.

I'm not there every day at that time, but the few times I have been, she's been there. Or is it a he.

I know there is a pair at Lake Somerville, but that is 45 miles from me. It is really breathtaking every time I see it.

Been seeing many more of them the last few years. Saw one in Danevang a few months back.

Two years ago I saw an Eagle and Osprey fight over a fish the Osprey had just plucked out of the Clark Fork about 20 feet away from us. That was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

They hang out at Holly Lake most of the winter. Beautiful bird.

There's a pair nesting 15 minutes from the house. Have seen them at this location for 4 yrs now. Texoma area.

Regular sightings on our farm in Iowa. Throw a dead coon in the yard and your can count on a local pair cleaning it up. When you are 20 yards from one you realize just how big they are.....kinda scary actually but beautiful.

I see them every time I go fishing at Sam Rayburn. They have made an amazing come back.
