Best processor in the Katy area?

Who does everyone use in the katy area? I’ve loaned out all my equipment during the move and I’m going to have to take my meat to someone.

I would stay away from midway. They will not give you your meat back they weigh your meat and grind it with everyones. I’d go to Arnold’s in hempseed or Belleville eat market if I were you.

Jacksons in huffman. 281-328-3515. Would b a bit of a drive for you but worth it. Been using them for years and never any issues. Do a great job and usually have your meat back in less than a week. You WILL get YOUR meat back.

Doziers in Fulshear. Or Bellville, but that's a trip from Katy.

            These are good choices.

If you’re willing to drive a bit, Pracek’s in El Campo is top notch.

I have always had concerns with how meat was processed. So I called Midway in Katy Texas. They are about 1 mile from my house. The fellow walked me around the facility and showed me how the process is done. THEY DO NOT MIX YOUR MEAT!!
The meat is in a storage bin and labeled with your name. It is processed in order received.

I respect everyone’s opinion but my information is fact..

                Good Hunting fellas !!

He let me in the freezer where he put my bin and showed me the names on the orders being processed..

He then explained the process, my big question was about mixing meat, his response was “hell No” !!

Belleville is pretty good. Little bit of a drive, but they make grea summer sausage.

There is now a Prasek's in Sealy that is only 20 minutes away. I always use Bellville Meat Market. Worth the drive.
