Shooting Chair

Over the years my rack started with 4 chairs, then went to 2 chairs, then a bench, then I made this chair. I love it.

I've built over 30 high racks over the years and my all time favorite swivel chair set up was using a trailer spindle and hub set up. It's solid, smooth and can easily be built with height adjustment if needed along with an adjustable gun rest. I can dig up some pics if needed

Or I have some 3/16" plates cut for boat swivels that can be welded to tubing that worked good to but they wobble and I hate that.

thumper im with ya on the wobbling swivels. id like to see the hub set up if it possible

I had the same results with the boat swivels being wobbly. I just haven't had time to change it up. But I went and bought a new swivel from academy the other day and it is very tight. I couldn't swivel it with my hand.
