We are back in over looking an oat patch that seems to be mostly weeds right now. They said worms got the oats. We are still hopeful overlooking this large area because of the amount of rut activity we saw this morning. These gale force wind aren't in our favor either. It feels like a hail marry kind of evening. Wish us luck.

We must have had 30 deer in the field. At last light a 20" wide 8 pt came out dogging a doe. My wife just couldn't find him in her scope. I did but it's all about her this weekend. She was upset with herself but it was a learning experience. One more round in the morning. Now time for some whiskey and burgers.

Congrats! Great that the Mrs was successful also.
